Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds' regular Thursday Night meal deal will be going ahead on 20 July, and on the menu is a classic.

For just £12, enjoy a pulled pork burger with bourbon BBQ sauce served with skinny fries. Add a pint of Atlantic Pale Ale for £3.

Live Music at Rocka-Buy Records

On Friday 21 July, Luke Concannon will be playing an intimate, acoustic set at Rocka-Buy Records.

The set starts at 4pm and Luke will be signing and selling CDs after the event.

The Kettle Club at Oakham Castle

The Kettle Club, a motorcycle club dedicated to the 1970's Suzuki GT750, will visit Oakham Castle on Friday 21 July from 12pm until 2pm. 

These motorcycles were made famous by Britain's 1976 and 1977 world champion motorcycle racer Barry Sheene, who owned one and raced motorcycles for Suzuki with GT750 engines.

The visit to Oakham Castle will be part of the club's annual rally based near Grantham, and on Friday 21 July the club will ride out en masse visiting landmarks in Rutland and Leicestershire stopping at Oakham Castle, in the grounds car park, for lunch.

Family Fun Day at The Old Buttercross

Family Fun Day at The Old Buttercross will take place on 22 July 2023. 

From 12pm until 5pm enjoy soft play and bouncy castles with other families.

Drinks and food available to buy.

Live Music in Cutts Close

The Smokestack Blues Band will be performing at Cutts Close on 23 July 2023. 

Music starts at 2:30pm and goes on until 4:30pm. 

There will be chairs provided by Oakham Town Council, but feel free to bring a blanket/chairs and a picnic. 

Entry is free.
