There is a huge array of fundraising efforts going on in Oakham this weekend, and they need you. Not only will these cracking events keep you entertained, but will give locals the chance to support the community around them as well as those further afield.

Concert for Ukraine

Corby Male Voices choir and Friends will be hosting a concert in aid of Ukraine on Friday the 6th of May 2022. 

This will take place at All Saints' Church at 7:30pm and tickets cost £10 each, with all proceeds going to the DEC Ukraine appeal.

Prickleback Urchin Hedgehog Rescue quiz night

To coincide with Hedgehog Awareness week, which runs from the 1st until the 6th of May, Prickleback Urchin Hedgehog Rescue are hosting a quiz evening at Rutland Showground on Friday the 6th of May 2022.

Tables can be purchased for £20 and teams can be made up of 4-6 people per table.

The quiz starts at 7:30pm, and the bar will be open all evening.

To keep the weekend going, on Tuesday the 10th of May 2022, The Crown Tavern will be hosting another quiz night.

The event is set to start at 8pm, but pop in early for a drink and a catch up with Lindsay and the lovely team. 

Maximum 6 per team.

Tickets are £3 each.

Oakham in Bloom Tombola

Oakham in Bloom will be hosting a Tombola event at Oakham Town Pump on Saturday 7th May 2022 from 9am onwards. 

This is a fundraising event to help with the vital work of the volunteers who make the town more florally attractive for visitors and residents.
