Rutland Food, Drink and Craft Festival in Oakham
Rutland Food, Drink and Craft Festival is returning once again to Oakham Town Centre for a brilliant day of family fun, exploring local artisans and makers and enjoying delicious food and drink.
Organised by Carolyn Acton Event, there will be stalls in Victoria Hall and Oakham Castle Grounds, as well as the festival taking place in the Market Place and High Street.
Over 70 different vendors will be attending, as well as a chocolate hunt available for children. The hunt is £4 to enter and children can find the toy easter chicks and rabbits to receive an Easter Egg as a prize.

Medieval Fun Day at Oakham Castle
Medieval Fun Day at Oakham Castle will be fun for all the family, with plenty of activities to get stuck into. From watching The Ferres Household's historical re-enactment, to trying some medieval games, there is lots to do for all ages.
There will also be historical lectures, arts and crafts displays and the chance to learn about armoury and herbology.
This event is free to attend and will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 22nd March at Oakham Castle. Please note there is no parking on site. For more information about this event, click here.
Botanical Gellipad Printing Workshop at Rutland Garden Centre
Artist Donna Drouin has joined together with Rutland Garden Centre to bring an engaging and creative workshop exploring the art of gellipad printing.
According to Donna, "I'll show you how to create lovely botanical themed prints using a Gellipad , you could make flower pictures or jugs or be more abstract with patterns , in an hour and a half you'll be amazed at what you can make!"

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds
The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 20th March. This week they are serving up spring lamb chana masala, cheese and baby spinach sahg alloh, poppadom, saffron rice and pickles.
For just £12.95, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.
