Take your mum, nan, favourite mother or mother-figure out this Sunday to celebrate Mothering Sunday 2023.

This year, Mothering Sunday in the UK is on 19 March, and a host of local venues are getting ready to make the most of a busy weekend celebrating mothers across the county.

Mothering Sunday has been celebrated as far back as the 16th century as a day of worship during Lent, the Christian fasting period. Incorporating the day as Mother's Day is a recent addition, but it seems that the nation jumps at every chance to celebrate our mothers.

Mother's Day at Rutland Farm Park

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March, enjoy an afternoon tea including sandwiches, scones, crisps and other sweet treats with your mum. This deal also comes with a nice fresh pot of tea.

Adults can enjoy a 3-course Sunday roast with pudding and all the trimmings for £19.99 and kids under 10 will cost £10.95.
