'Sip and Style' Flower Arranging Workshop at Old Oak Farm

Old Oak Farm are holding a 'Sip and Style' hands-on flower arranging workshop this Saturday as a great opportunity for those interested in flower arranging but are not sure where to start.

This beginner friendly workshop will teach attendees how to arrange a stunning selection seasonal blooms while enjoying tea and coffee with homemade cakes.

Cirquoise at Gates Garden Centre

This Summer, Cirquoise is returning to Gates Garden Centre as the perfect way to keep the family entertained this school holiday.

Running from Friday 18th July to 10th August, the circus will run performances at 11am and 3pm on weekdays and Sundays and 11am, 2pm and 4.30pm on Saturdays.

Combining the magic of traditional Italian and British circus, Cirquoise is promising a lively and entertaining show packed with dazzling performers.

Disco Bliss at Victoria Hall, Oakham

After an incredible event in March, Disco Bliss is returning to Oakham's Victoria Hall this weekend for another Day Disco featuring favourite hits from 70s Disco and 80s Pop.

Running from 1.30pm to 6pm, this is a disco night out without the night out - you can tear up the dance floor and be home in time for tea.

Talk on 'Hunters and Hyenas in Prehistoric Rutland' at Rutland County Museum

Talk : Hunters and Hyenas in Prehistoric Rutland

As part of the 2025 Festival of Archaeology, John Thomas will be holding a special talk at Rutland County Museum discussing a prehistoric open-air hunting camp and hyena den at Glaston from over 40,000 years ago.

This talk will cover how this rare evidence was found and what was uncovered at Glaston, as well as what we can learn about Early Upper Palaeolithic period from these findings.

This event is free to attend by donations on the day are welcome. It is, however, essential to book your space to avoid disappointment.

Open Air Performance of 'The Tempest' at Whitwell Point

Immersion Theatre will perform their hit show Shakespeare's The Tempest at Whitwell Point, Rutland this Saturday from 6pm.

This open-air performance has been described as a 'highly accessible adaptation' of Shakespeare's play 'with heaps of audience participation.'

"This mesmerising show will be bought to life in unforgettable style, perfect for both seasoned theatre-goers and newcomers to Shakespeare's work.'

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 17th July. This week they are serving up steak and ale pie or chicken and leak pie, both served with mashed potatoes and greens.
