The George Inn, previously known as the Whipper-In, has launched a new Supper Menu showcasing great quality local ingredients. 

The charming seventeenth-century pub has recently undergone substantial renovations, curating 20 beautiful rooms of various sizes and styles, along with their bar, parlour and dining room. 

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, The George has something for everyone, offering a range of hearty meals and decadent deserts.

Their new Supper Menu is served from 6pm to 9.30pm Wednesday to Saturday and includes options like thirty-day aged Derbyshire steak with frites, onion rings, roast tomato and portobello mushrooms or harissa marinated lamb rump with Mediterranean vegetable cous-cous and tzatziki.

If you have a sweet tooth, The George Inn is serving a decadent chocolate torte with caramelised banana, honeycomb crumb with vanilla ice cream. If you prefer a savoury option, they also serve an artisan cheese board with membrillo, grapes and crackers.

They also serve a comforting, hearty Sunday lunch between noon and 4pm every Sunday.
