Win a Christmas hamper and support a local mental health charity this festive season as Pepper's- A Safe Place work with local charities to raise much-needed funds.

Pepper's- A Safe Place is a mental health and wellbeing charity that runs friendly and welcoming drop-in sessions and wellbeing activities at hubs in Oakham and Melton Mowbray.

These sessions welcome adults in need of companionship or who may be struggling with their Mental Health. All adults are welcome to come and take a break, socialise, combat isolation, have fun and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

This Christmas, the team are working with generous local businesses to raise funds by hosting a raffle to win a hamper packed with treats to kick your Christmas off the right way.

Development Manager at Pepper's, Pippa Gorman, said: "This hamper has some really lovely goodies from our wonderful local businesses and makes an incredible gift for you or a friend this Christmas."

Gifts include prosecco from Oakham Wines, Hot Chocolate Sets from Snapdragon, a headband, bobbles and socks from Cavils, chocolates from Walkers of Oakham, a hand cream set from Natures Dispensary, a handmade Christmas decoration, a set of Pepper's Christmas cards and a selection of Jars from Otters Fine Foods.

Tickets cost £1 each and can be purchased by sending the team a message on Facebook or via [email protected], or at Rutland's Big Christmas Market on 3 Dec at Hambleton Hall.

The team will be drawing the winner on Tuesday 12 December, and you must be able to collect the hamper from the Oakham hub at 2A High Street, Oakham, Rutland.

Pippa concluded: "Thank you all for your support this festive season and throughout the year."
