Greetham Valley GC is very proud to announce a shirt sponsorship deal for the 2020 season and beyond, for the GVGC South Lincolnshire Scratch league 1st team, with Eddisons Chartered Surveyors.

This has been pulled off thanks to the tremendous efforts of first team member Rory Addison Smith. The shirts, from the FootJoy© premium range, are being supplied through the club's PGA Pro Neil Curtis.

Eddisons (who also now incorporate Barker Storey Matthews) are a leading practice of chartered surveyors and consultants who provide commercial property advice throughout the UK.

Their expert team has worked with private property companies, major corporate organisations, local authorities and more, supplying exceptional, bespoke solutions for each of their clients.

Their highly-qualified, client-focused staff guide and advise clients at every stage of the process.

Mixed Medal Qualifier: November 9 (The Lakes Course)

Played mostly off the yellow tees (with a couple of temporary tees thrown in), the competition was contested by 90 players and played in sunny, crisp and cool conditions, but the course was very badly affected by the weather from earlier in the week.

Victorious on the day was Martin Thwaites (14) with gross 78, net 64 with twelve pars, four bogies and just one double-bogey on his card. Second place was taken by Chris Hatch (14) just one stroke behind on 79 gross, net 65, in spite of a birdie on the sixth.

Four handicapper Darren Child came third on countback with an excellent gross 69, net 65, which featured no less than four birdies.

Leading lady on the day was Dee Ginnity (12) with a sterling gross 82, net 72, followed by Jackie Friend (18) with gross 95, net 77

Seniors Winter League Round 2: November 11 (The Lakes Course)

Considering the on-going appalling weather conditions, 38 indomitable Seniors competed in Round 2 of the Seniors' Winter League. Jim McGhee (11) scored a brilliant 39pts, just squeezing Jim Clarke (14) into second place on 38pts, with Ken Porter (10) a further point back on 37pts.
