The date of the upcoming Oakham North West Ward surgery has been announced.

Rutland residents in the Oakham North West Ward can meet with their councillors this December to share their concerns, chat to the Labour councillors representing the area and have a catch up about all things 'Rutland'.

Oakham North West councillors Steve McRobb and Ramsay Ross will be holding their upcoming surgery at the Scout Hut on Grampian Way on Friday 1 December, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

Cllr Ross and McRobb said: "We are very pleased to announce that we will be joined by Rutland Adult Learning & Skills Service who will advise on free courses that they offer."

These surgeries take place on the first Friday of every month between 1.30pm and 2.30pm, and offer an opportunity for local people to share their views on local politics, policies and more. No appointment is necessary - just turn up and introduce yourself to the representatives, who were both elected in May 2023.

The duo urged residents to come along, adding: "If you have any issues with your Council services, please come along and we will try to assist you."
