A free 12-week course for people who have had time out of work due to having a long term physical or mental health condition will be launched in Rutland this autumn.

Active Rutland will be 'hanging out' in nature over the course doing a variety of things like gardening, crafting, working in woodlands, enjoying nature walks, drinking tea, connecting with others and perhaps going on some micro adventures!

Oakham School is celebrating a new accolade after its Design and Technology Department received a prestigious award for its work during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Head of Design and Technology Tim Weston was presented with the DATA Excellence 'Onshape Special Award' for Recognising Design and Technology's Social Impact during a ceremony at The Institution of Engineering Technology in London.

The recently re-branded Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa is to host a series of recruitment open days in October to boost the local hospitality sector.

Set to take place at the hotel on Sunday 3rd October between 12 pm - 4 pm, and Tuesday 5th October between 4 pm - 8 pm, the events will give potential team members the chance to showcase their skills and experience, and to secure interviews with the hotel's team.
