The popular beach and Aqua Park at Rutland Water will remain closed until further notice, it has now been announced, following an outbreak of blue-green algae.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the levels of blue green algae are still too high at Rutland Water for us to be able to open the beach this weekend. The water at Rutland remains closed for all water sports, the Aqua Park and swimming.
Tomorrow's season opener away at FC Parson Drove will be a special occasion.
As it is a Groundhop game it will attract a large crowd of non-league football fans, not only from across the UK but also from abroad.

On-call firefighters in Oakham and Uppingham are taking to the saddle in a new initiative to help reduce the risk of fires in the communities.
The newly-formed Community Fire Cycle Crew was launched yesterday (Weds) and will see on-call firefighters on bikes in and around the two towns, giving safety advice to residents.
Last weekend a Mixed Stableford Qualifier was played on Greetham Valley Golf Club's Valley Course and, for the first time in more than a few years, Tim Nixon (hcp 15) found himself at the top of the leader-board with a great score of 24 points.
Tim sank two birdies (one in each half) and was delighted to have played so steadily with a total of six pars to augment his score.

An updated timetable for the Rutland Flyer 1 (RF1) bus will be introduced from Tuesday, 1 September.
RF1 connects Melton Mowbray with Corby, calling at Langham, Ashwell and Oakham.
