Oakham Rugby Football Club (ORFC) are facing Market Bosworth in what will be their first match of the 2023/24 season this Saturday.

After a short summer break and some promising pre-season training, ORFC will be playing their first competitive game of the season away at Market Bosworth tomorrow, Saturday 2 September.

Last week, the greatly improved team faced Syston, and came away victorious, the final score Oakham 40 - 12 Syston.

This weekend, the team will be facing Market Bosworth away, who proved fierce competitors last season, Oakham winning by only two points.

Whatever the result, the game is sure to be a great way to kick off the season for ORFC, who are striving to climb higher up the league and improve fitness and teamwork this season - aspects of play that, at last week's friendly against Syston, looked well on their way.
