Start your pottery journey with Rutland Adult and Community Learning's 13-week Beginners course!

This course is suitable for adults aged 19+ who have never handled clay before or have a little experience and want to build upon these skills.

You will learn basic hand-building techniques such as pinching, slab building, coil building and moulding, as well as glazing and throwing on a wheel (limited to two learners at a time). You'll then practice these techniques and skills and create ceramic items under the guidance of our friendly and experienced tutor.
