Shakespearean mischief comes to Wing Village Hall this November
A riotous new comedy featuring one of Shakespeare's best-loved rogues is coming to Wing Village Hall on Saturday 14 November.
Much Ado About Falstaff, presented by Giles Shenton Productions as part of the Live & Local programme, promises an evening of laughter, clever wordplay and gloriously Shakespearean insults.
Sir John Falstaff is down on his luck, but that has never stopped him from stirring up trouble. Set in the infamous Boar's Head Inn, this fast-paced comedy follows the larger-than-life rogue as he attempts to dodge his debts, chase women and stay one step ahead of the chaos he creates.
Written by Simon Downing, the show stars audience favourite Giles Shenton as Falstaff, alongside Georgie Taylor as the sharp-tongued Mistress Quickly.
From the team behind Old Herbaceous, Three Men in a Boat and What's Wrong with Benny Hill?, this is Shakespeare with a generous helping of mischief, humour and irreverence.
You don't need to be a Shakespeare expert to enjoy it. Whether you're a theatre enthusiast or simply fancy a thoroughly entertaining Saturday night out, there's plenty to laugh about.
