Friends of Rutland County Museum are holding a special fundraising event to raise match funds to Heritage Lottery Fund bid to display Ichthyosaur from Rutland Water and discoveries from the Roman Villa excavation near Ketton.

This will be a talk from well-known expert from BBC's Antiques Roadshow Christopher Payne about existing and lost houses of the East Midlands and the accumulation and dispersal of their treasures.

Doors to the event will open at 6.30pm, with a glass of wine for ticket holders and the chance to explore the museum's exhibit on John Louis Petit's paintings of locations across the East Midlands, before the talk starts at 7.30pm.
