On Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th of August, Rutland Sailing Club are hosting the RYA Multiclass Regatta.

There will be a range of sailors competing, including wheelchair users.

Events like this confirm that sailing really is an accessible sport.

There are over 40 entries, plus their various helpers and lots of local volunteers.

Saturday is fleet racing:

morning briefings and preparation

launch about 12:00

12:30 first race starts

Sunday's pursuit race:

11:00 start

12:30 finish (exactly!)

prizegiving planned for 15:00
