Alan Oliver exhibition at Rutland Museum

Oakham Museum

12th Feb 2022 - 12th Mar 2022

UNTIL Saturday 12th March

Saturday the 12th of March 2022 provides the last chance for locals to catch a free exhibition exploring the works of local artist Alan Oliver at Rutland County Museum.

Alan Oliver's work utilises a mixture of mediums and subjects, including Landscapes, Still Life and places, from Rutland to Venice in both traditional and contemporary styles.

Alan said: "I started to draw and paint mainly because I have always been interested to try to find out how things worked or why they looked as they do. From the age of about four or five I began to draw and paint anything that looked interesting to me. It just seemed the best way of remembering things and places."

The museum is open on Friday and Saturday from 10am until 4pm and entry is free.

This exhibition is only running until Saturday the 12th of March 2022, so catch it while you can!
