The Rutland hotel is delighted to announce that its brand new restaurant will play host to a special dining experience for mums this Mother's Day.

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa is calling all mums to take a much-needed break by venturing down for a Sunday lunch dining experience this Mothering Sunday, the 27th of March 2022, hosted in the newly opened Blossoms restaurant.

With booth seating and beautiful teal colours aligning with the new rebrand, Blossoms restaurant boasts a stylish, chic feel. An Instagram-worthy blossom tree takes centre-stage in the bar for the social-media-savvy mums – a stunning centrepiece alongside the grand piano upon entry.

Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course Sunday lunch comprising a starter, main and dessert. The mains offered include a 12-hour slow-cooked Grasmere pork belly, pan-fried wild Mediterranean sea bass, and a vegetarian-friendly roast butternut squash and ricotta Wellington.

To end the dining experience on a high, guests can delve into one of the indulgent desserts on offer, such as Sicilian lemon parfait, vanilla crème brulée or, for those with a savoury inclination, a classic selection of English cheese.

The treats don't stop there – the resort hotel has additionally arranged toe-tapping live music alongside a complimentary free glass of bubbles for every mum on arrival.

Discussing the event, Helen Knights, Director of Sales at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa, said: "We wanted to host a special experience for mums this Mothering Sunday, and what better way than with a delicious Sunday lunch, live music and a nice glass of bubbly in our newly refurbished Blossoms restaurant?

"We love celebrating key events with guests and will be pulling out all the stops to ensure our dining experience provides mums with a Mother's Day to remember."

The Mother's Day Sunday lunch will be available from midday to 3pm and costs £39 per person. Children up to the age of 12 can eat a child-size portion off the main menu for half the price, or they can alternatively opt for a dish from the kid's menu.
