By Martin Brookes

4th May 2024 | Local Features

Help raise money for a great cause at the Rutland County Show on Sunday 2 June 2024.

For Rutland are hosting the annual Grand Bottle Tombola in aid of "For Rutland," and they are seeking donations of bottles of any kind.

For Rutland raises funds for Citizens Advice Rutland to pay for Specialist Advisers who provide non-medical advice to people of all ages living with long-term health conditions in Rutland and the Surrounding Community.

Since the launch of the local charity in June 2014, these Specialist Advisers have obtained over £9m in the form of grants, debt write off and benefit funding for the people who need this free, confidential, non-medical advice service.

Every penny raised by For Rutland stays in Rutland and expenses are kept to an absolute minimum to fund the Advisers.

This year, the charity turns ten, and will be marking this with a range of events, including the annual For Rutland bottle tombola at the Rutland County Show.

Your contribution, big or small, will make a difference!
