Oakham Nub News has teamed up with a reader to share a regular 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

Josh is back this week with another cracking cocktail, and this one can easily be made with ingredients that you keep in the fridge, with plenty of options for swapping in and out!

Ingredients:

  • 50ml vodka or gin
  • 50ml apple juice
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp strawberry/raspberry (red berry) jam

Method:

  1. add all of your ingredients to a shaker and 'dry' shake for 20 seconds
  2. add plenty of ice and shake until chilled
  3. strain into a glass
  4. top up with lemonade if you prefer a long drink
  5. garnish with whatever you have in the fridge - I had a passion fruit!

Check out our other Cocktail of the Week features by heading to the search bar at the top of the page and typing in 'Cocktail', allowing you to view the whole gallery of our popular weekly creations.

Did you know, you can share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page? Don't be shy, get in touch!
