Oakham Nub News has teamed up with a reader to share a regular 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

Josh is bringing you another new cocktail feature this week - one with the warmer evenings and summer sun in mind!

Read on to find out how to make the Rose Spritz...

Ingredients:

  • 50ml rosé wine
  • 25ml creme de cassis
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • lemonade or soda - approximately the same as the other ingredients combined

Method:

  1. pour your rosé, creme de cassis and lime juice over ice in a mixing jug
  2. stir until chilled
  3. pour into a wine glass, with ice if you prefer
  4. top up with lemonade or soda - soda will made this drink more bitter

Check out our other Cocktail of the Week features by heading to the search bar at the top of the page and typing in 'Cocktail', allowing you to view the whole gallery of our popular weekly creations.

Did you know, you can share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page? Don't be shy, get in touch!
