Rutland Sinfonia invites audiences to experience the thrill, romance and spectacle of the silver screen in The Sound of Hollywood, a dazzling concert celebrating some of the most beloved film music of all time. The performance takes place on Saturday 14 March 2026 in the stunning setting of Oakham School Chapel.
This cinematic evening features unforgettable music from Pirates of the Caribbean, Wicked, Forrest Gump, and Cinema Paradiso, to name just a few, brought vividly to life by a full-sized symphony orchestra. From sweeping romance to high-energy adventure, the programme promises an unforgettable evening for film fans and music lovers alike.
The concert will be conducted by Associate Conductor David Calow, whose engaging style makes him a firm favourite with both players and audiences alike.
This performance marks the third concert in Rutland Sinfonia's 50th Anniversary Season, a milestone year that has already seen two consecutive sell-out concerts.
