Elgar: Enigma Variations

At the heart of the programme is Elgar's magnificent Enigma Variations — a masterpiece of mystery, character and soaring orchestral colour.

The orchestra are especially thrilled to welcome their Musical Patron, the extraordinary Eduardo Vassallo, former Principal Cellist of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, as soloist in Dvořák's passionate and powerful Cello Concerto — one of the most beloved works in the cello repertoire.

Join an ensemble of the string players of Rutland Sinfonia for a special concert at the end of a highly successful 50th anniversary season.
