The A606 was closed in both directions in Whitwell this morning, Monday the 28th of November 2022, due to a road traffic incident.

Leicestershire Police shared: "Road Traffic Incident | 06:30 | The A606 in Whitwell is closed in both directions. Please find alternative routes. Updates to follow."

It appears that the road reopened at approximately 8am.
