Popular local author and publisher Adam Croft has announced the upcoming release of his fifth book in the acclaimed Rutland Crime series.

Adam Croft, who is famous in the local area for his Rutland crime series, is publishing 'Moment of Truth', the fifth book in this popular local series centring around the sights and landmarks of Rutland.

This new title follows the first four books, 'What Lies Beneath', 'On Borrowed Time', 'In Cold Blood', and 'Kiss of Death'.

The events depicted in this most recent addition to the series focus upon the iconic Great Hall of Oakham Castle.

The blurb reads:

A man is found dead in the judge's chair inside the Great Hall of Oakham Castle, beaten to death with a ceremonial horseshoe.

As Rutland Police investigate, they discover that the victim was a charitable, public-spirited man who only ever wanted to help others.

So who wanted to kill him so brutally?

And why?
