Rutland Healthcare Support Shop closes temporarily
The Rutland Healthcare Support Shop is closing temporarily while their ongoing search for new premises continues, but Rutland residents can still make use of the invaluable services provided by the charitable organisation.
The Rutland Healthcare Support Shop are a local charity that have been open since 2008, providing essential supplies to those in need, including but not limited to wheelchairs, crutches, walking frames, toilet aids and bed cradles.
The shop was run by volunteers and has been housed in one of the hubs owned by Voluntary Action Rutland for the last 14 years.
However, with Voluntary Action Rutland closing their premises on Lands' End Way, the shop has nowhere to go.
After appealing for assistance to find a new shop in August of this year, the Rutland Healthcare Support Shop is temporarily closed while it continues to search for new premises.
Read more about this search here.
While the shop is closed though, Rutland residents can still access the vital healthcare support they need by contacting Pat on 01780 419041.
Pat can arrange rental of wheelchairs, purchase of walking frames, and the distribution of other helpful items stocked by the shop while at Lands' End Way.
