While this will be good news for some local homebuyers and those hoping to move to the area, it is frustrating for residents who feel that the surge in house building across Rutland is not being met with a sufficient increase in services, including but not limited to NHS dentists, medical facilities and leisure options, since Oakham's public pool at Catmose Sports Centre was shut in 2021, with no sign of a new facility being provided in Rutland's county town.

In this Black Friday scheme, homebuyers who reserve a new home at Allison Homes' Farriers Reach in Barleythorpe, Oakham across Black Friday week will receive a £1,000 John Lewis voucher upon completion.

This one-off offer is only available to new homebuyers that reserve during the 8 days of Black Friday week and this offer will be guaranteed on top of any other incentives the builder is offering online at that time.
