This week will see the first of Oakham's festive late night shopping events take place in Mill Street.

The cohort of Mill Street shop and business owners will be opening their doors late on Friday 17 November for their annual Late Night Shopping event ahead of Christmas.

Mill Street is a popular shopping spot for Oakham locals, and brags an array of shops including but not limited to:

  • Darn Knit
  • Moonflower
  • Cavells
  • Landmark
  • The Angler
  • Gladwells
  • Snapdragon
  • Mango & The Moon

It is also home to Sew Ab Fab, which announced that it would be closing in December, making this the last late night shopping event for owner Caroline.

Some shops on The Maltings, just off Mill Street, will be joining the late night shopping event too - which will take place from 4pm until late.

Following this, the late night shopping event that takes place along Oakham High Street and in the old Market Place every year will be taking place on 11 December - so if you can't make this month's festive shopping event, there will still be time to join the fun in December.

Head to our What's On page to find out about other shopping and festive events taking place on the run up to Christmas.
