An outbuilding and storage unit at Cutts Close Park were vandalised over the new year period.

Sometime between 7.30pm and 9.10pm on Monday, 30 December damage was caused to a front door panel at an outbuilding although no entry was gained.

Police were also called at around 6.20pm on Thursday, 2 January to a report that a number of youths - a group of six girls and boys aged 14 and 15 - were damaging a store unit.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and found the unit had been broken into.

"Damage had been caused to door and door frame. It's not believed anything was taken.

"Officers are keeping an open mind as to whether the two incidents are linked."

Anyone with information should contact Leicestershire Police by calling 101 and quoting crime reference 19*696772 in relation to the incident on 30 December and 20*3383 relation to the 2 January break-in.
