Oakham residents are today, the 4th of December 2022, enjoying the Oakham Town Council Christmas Extravaganza at Cutts Close.

The participants are warming up for the 12:15 Santa Fun Run.

Lord Lieutenant Dr Sarah Furness and Mayor Sally-Anne Wadsworth are in attendance.

There are a range of wonderful stalls from local suppliers, including a raffle in support of Bumps & Beyond and a producer supporting local hedgehog centre Prickleback Urchin Hedgehog Rescue.

The event is on until 4pm and you can enjoy food from Griff's Pizza and drinks from The Grainstore Brewery.

Sophia and her dad hope to see you here supporting them as they join the run!
