Rutland has again reported no more cases of coronavirus.

The number of confirmed cases remains at 32, as it has been for several days.

With a rate of 80.6 cases per 100,000 population, this gives the county the fourth best rate of all the lower tier local authorities in the country.

Across Lincolnshire, two more cases of coronavirus were confirmed, giving the county a total of 1,042 cases.

This gives the county a rate of 137.9 cases per 100,000 population, which compares to a rate of 257.5 per 100,000 for the whole of England, which has 144,217 reported cases.

Among the districts, South Kesteven reported one extra case this afternoon, putting it on 155 cases, a rate of 109.3 per 100,000 of population.

North Kesteven remains on 131 cases (112.9) and Melton remained on 61 (121.3).

Peterborough reported one extra case today, putting it on 183.5.

South Holland remained on 155 cases (109.3).

Meanwhile, Lincolnshire has reported one more death from coronavirus today.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust said this afternoon the fatality involved a 68-year-old woman with underlying health conditions. It brought the total number of deaths at its hospitals to 126.

The death comes as the UK-wide death toll increased at its lowest level since the start of the lockdown in March.

The official NHS figures for the UK show an increase of 160 deaths to 34,796.

The number of confirmed cases increased by 2,684 to 246,406.
