Rutland has reported its second case of Coronavirus.

Public Health England reported the second case yesterday, which followed the first case being recorded on Friday.

No further cases were reported today (Sunday) and health chiefs won't say which hospital or where in the county the people who tested positive came from.

The latest figures, released this afternoon, also revealed the largest-ever jump in the number of Coronavirus cases in Lincolnshire.

Public Health England says at 9am on Saturday, March 28, the county had 72 confirmed cases.

The increase of 19 compared with the 53 reported the day before.

No further deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. However, there have been four deaths overall since the outbreak began

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which operates Grantham Hospital, in addition to hospitals at Boston, Lincoln and Louth, won't say in which hospitals the deaths occurred.

Nationally, the UK has seen 19,522 confirmed cases with 1,228 deaths as of 9am on Saturday, March 28.

Nearby Nottinghamshire has 193 cases, Leicestershire has 141 cases and Peterborough has 21 cases.
