A Notice of Election has been published by Rutland County Council for the office of the Councillor for Oakham North East.

This by-election is being held following the death of Cllr Hannah Edwards in early September.

An election will be held to fill this vacancy on Thursday 21st November.

For anyone wishing to stand in the election, Nomination Packs are available from the Council's Elections Office. Anyone requesting a pack must first contact the Elections Office by emailing [email protected] or phoning 01572 758 385 or 01572 720 907.

Once papers have been picked up, they must be completed and delivered by hand to the Returning Officer at Rutland County Council. This must be done between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday, and must be returned by 4pm on Friday 25 October 2024.
