Oakham Town Council Chairman announces resignation

Chairman of Oakham Town Council and Mayor of Oakham Cllr Adam Lowe announced his resignation from his role. 

His decision comes as he hopes to focus more on his role with Uppingham Town Council. 

A meeting has been called to elect a new Chairman, which will be held at on Wednesday 23rd October at 5.45pm at the council chamber on Long Row, Oakham. 

Cllr Lowe was previously Mayor of Oakham from 2018 to 2019, returning to the role in May this year. 

Cllr Lowe has been approached for comment and will speak to Nub News in due course about his decision.
