National Theatre Live - Prima Facie

National Theatre Live's most watched performance ever returns to Wymondham Village Hall on Thursday 17th October from 7pm.

Featuring Jodie Comer's award-winning performance as Tessa, this one-woman play follows the story of a barrister that is forced to confront her own morals and the power of the law.

'Spirit Whispers' - A Fundraising Evening of Mediumship

Local medium Alison Stead is delighted to invite you to an evening of mediumship being held at Market Overton Village Hall this Friday (18 October).

Alison says: "blending my love for Spirit alongside by former life in a local charitable community organisation is a passion of mine.

"First hand, I understand how vitally important organisations like FOR RUTLAND are, especially in a small community like ours and it's a pleasure to be able to help support them in some small way."

FOR RUTLAND provides vital support and practical assistance to people in our community who are experiencing long term ill health or disability.

Melton Mowbray Comic Con and Toy Fair

Organised by Bolt Events, Melton Mowbray Comic Con and Toy Fair is a great way to get in touch with your nostalgic side or tap into your knowledge about the latest comics, movies and games.

Held at Melton Mowbray Market, this event will from from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 19th October.

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

This week the team are serving up a huge range of pies (Fox and Hounds).

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 17 October, and this week the team are serving up a range of pies: boozy braised beef OR north field farm chicken, leek, smoked bacon and brie OR seafood smoky, topped with applewood mash.

For just £12.95, every week they put on a popular meal deal, and you can head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Rutland Water Cycling Day

For those aged 25 to 35, there is a group planning to spend the day cycling round Rutland Water, with a pitstop at a pub for lunch.

Organised by Lincoln 25-35s, the event will cover a 24km route around Rutland Water. There is the opportunity to bring your own or rent a bike.

Organiser, Lauren, says: "The plan is to go to Rutland Water for the day and cycle round the reservoir. We'll make a day of it and also head to the pub for lunch."

Pumpkin Carving at Rutland Farm Park

There's lots of activities going on at Rutland Farm Park this half term, including Pumpkin Carving this Friday (18th October).

Suitable to all ages and abilities, Rutland Farm Park invites you to unleash your creativity and carve a pumpkin to start getting into the spooky spirit.
