The opportunity has arisen for Rutland residents to enjoy the annual Rutland County Show for free this June 2023.

The Rutland County Show is an annual event hosted by Rutland Agricultural Society celebrating local farmers, produce, live stock, goods and more.

The society has been hosting the show yearly for nearly 200 years, making it one of the oldest in the country.

The event promotes local farmers, work and producers, and is supported by crowds of 1000s, who flock to Rutland Showground to enjoy the festivities.

Supported by The Lions Club of Rutland, the show depends upon volunteers - and you could be joining the lively team this year.

Volunteering with the Rutland Lions will see you welcoming visitors, easing traffic flow, and ensuring that the show is a success. As a volunteer, you will get to enjoy the show for free and meet friends, old and new.

The event is set to take place on 4 June 2023.

Message the Lions team on Facebook or via email for more information.

The Rutland Lions are a part of the worldwide volunteer organisation working towards international and local unity, supporting humanitarian causes far and wide.
