First hosepipe ban since 2012 announced by Anglian Water

Anglian Water have announced a hosepipe ban will be implemented for all customers across the region, starting from 1am on Saturday 11 July.
A statement issued by Anglian Water said: 'Weeks of hot, dry weather and record water use means we're using more water than ever before.
'These restrictions will help made sure there's enough water for homes, businesses and essential services, while protecting our local rivers and environment.
'We know this won't be welcome news.'
This hosepipe ban is the first to be introduced by Anglian Water since 2012, which bans using a hosepipe for the following things:
- watering your garden,
- watering plants,
- washing your car,
- cleaning patios and driveways,
- cleaning walls and windows,
- filling paddling pools, swimming pools, hot tubs, ponds or ornamental fountains,
- cleaning private leisure boats
