13th May 2021 | Local News

The first osprey chick of the year has arrived at Manton Bay.

The Rutland Osprey Project says the chick was hatched on Saturday.

In addition, the project, run by the Lincolnshire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, says a second chick was hatched on Sunday evening.

The chicks, they add, maybe the first osprey to be hatched in the UK this year.

The arrival of the chicks can be seen on the trust's Facebook page.

Furthermore, the ospreys can also be seen online using the trust's webcam.
