Oakham's new bakery is getting ready to open soon, with work being done both in and outside the High Street store.

The former home of Fat Face has been empty since March 2022, but that will not be the case for much longer, as the East Midlands bakery chain, Butterwick, gets ready to move in.

The team shared a 'sneak peek' of the new Oakham store on their Facebook page, adding that they hope to be open in early September 2023.

"Keep your eyes peeled for more progress pics of the build… this one's gonna be INSANE."

The franchise already has stores in:

  • Corby
  • Kettering
  • Market Harborough
  • Wellingborough
  • Northampton
  • Rugby
  • Rushden
