Harington School in Oakham rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for Post-16 provision

Harington School in Oakham has been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating by Ofsted for post-16 provision.
The school has maintained it's 'Outstanding' rating since its previous inspection in January 2017.

Harington Head Oliver Teasel said: "I am proud of everyone at Harington that contributes to its success. Our staff provide incredible learning experiences, students are 'respectful, highly motivated and consistently work hard to achieve their goals. Harington is a really special school and does a fantastic job at preparing students for their next steps. As one student said to the lead inspector 'Harington is shaping who I am and who I want to be.'"

Along with the schools strong track record with exam results and student outcomes, Ofsted also said they were impressed with the extra opportunities the schools offer. This includes trips, visits, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, Young Enterprise, DocSoc and Green Power.
Ofsted also praised the careers programme that the school offers as well as the exceptional teaching they witnessed.
