Healthwatch Rutland has launched a new project about NHS communications, and the team want to hear from you.

Healthwatch Rutland is your local health and social care champion. From Essendine to Uppingham and everywhere in between, the organisation makes sure NHS leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.

They provide an opportunity for local people to have a powerful voice on the health and social care services they use.

Through their network of committed volunteers, and good relations with existing voluntary and community groups, the team work to listen to what local people think about the services they use and then consult with providers to change and improve them.

Now, the organisation has launched a project concerning NHS communications, including a survey for local people to join the conversation.

A spokesperson for the organisation said: "Getting NHS referrals and diagnostic tests can involve lots of letters, texts and phone calls. Do you find these communications easy to understand and timely?

"We would love to hear your feedback. Fill in our survey, it will take around 5 minutes of your time and will help shape your local NHS healthcare services. To access the survey, visit our website on or scan the QR code:"
