Overnight on 19 April into 20 April, four high-value plant items were stolen from the Rutland Water Garden Nursery.

The team at Rutland Water Garden Nurseries, which is located on Lyndon Road in Manton, have been undertaking large works recently, leading up to the opening of a new cafe and entertainment facility at the waterside venue.

Unfortunately, a number of work vehicles and pieces of machinery have been stolen from the site.

Rutland and Leicestershire Rural Policing team have shared stock images, showing examples of the machinery that was taken:

A spokesperson for Leicestershire and Rutland Rural policing team asked: "Did you see anything or have you got any doorbell footage? Suspicious vans/plant/trailers?"

Potential witnesses can get in touch with the team online by quoting the crime number 23000236789.

Thank you.
