Jon Dixon and the team of the Oakham Skatepark Project have worked tirelessly to instigate and maintain conversation about the construction of a new skatepark in Oakham.

They have recently asked for feedback on the new plan to establish whether it would be suitable to have a purpose built skatepark on Centenary Field, Barleythorpe Road.

This plan is being discussed by Oakham Town Council and The Oakham Skatepark Project team, with local people being given the chance to feedback on this latest development.

Residents are being asked about location, dimensions and more and can complete a survey to have their say.

Size and scale are only a few of the questions that need answering before the survey closes on the 22nd of July (image courtesy of Jon Dixon)

Currently, the only certainties are the proposed location on Centenary Fields, and that no floodlighting will be provided.

The survey can be completed here. It will be open until the 22nd of July 2022.
