Oakham's J D Weatherspoon branch The Captain Noel Newton is looking for a fun, enthusiastic, passionate staff to join their hard-working team.

As one of the top employers in the UK, staff are paid from £12.31 with a free meal and drink on shift, 20% discount on all food, drinks and hotels and an extra £1 per hour for a shifts worked between midnight and 5.59am.

An essential part of this role is communicating with customers and colleagues. You must be over 18 to serve alcohol but there may be roles available for younger applicants in the kitchen or on the floor.

Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust are looking for an Information Assistant to engage visitors about ospreys, lead events, and support the Visitor Centre operations.

This role is great for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in conservation, public speaking and event management, all while working in the beautiful nature reserve.

Yodel Delivery Driver

Yodel are looking for delivery drivers around Oakham to join their team.

According to Yodel, "As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers, you'll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don't need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn."

Drivers can typically earn between £18 and £20 per hour (paid per parcel) with flexibility and freedom with the independence of being self-employed.

Unit Manager at Aspen Manor Care Home

Aspen Manor is a high-end Care Home in Barleythorpe, Oakham and are hiring a new Unit Manager.

This full time role pays £17 per hour and will include providing and overseeing care, carry out risk assessments, support the team and follow best practice.

The duties in this role include:

  • ensuring the safe running of care and practice,
  • ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery,
  • provide families accurate information about their loved one's care and treatments,
  • act as an advocate for external stakeholders such as GPs, Nurses, the Care Quality Commission and other visitors
