Late Night Shopping will return to Oakham on Monday 9th December with a festive evening of food, stalls from local sellers and singing from local primary school children.

This event is a great opportunity to get stuck into some Christmas shopping, with businesses staying open late and local small business stalls in All Saints Church, Market Place and around the town centre.

For the little ones, there is the opportunity to meet Santa at The George Inn, with between 4pm and 4.30pm reserved for children and their siblings with additional needs. Meeting Santa costs £1 per child, which includes a gift, and can be booked online.

This event, which is organised by Carolyn Acton Events, will cause some road closures in Oakham. Between 12 noon and 10pm on Monday 9th December, Mill Street, Market Place, Market Street and Church Street will be closed, as well as High Street from the Burley Road junction to the New Street junction.

For more updates and details about this event, take a look at Carolyn Acton's event page on Facebook.
