Leicestershire and Rutland Police appeal for witnesses in Great Dalby burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Top End, Great Dalby, Melton Mowbray.

Police were called to the area at 1.38pm on Wednesday the 1st of June where it was reported two men had broken into a property where they had stolen keys to a blue BMW.

The blue BMW was driven away from the property by one of the suspects but collided with another vehicle. The suspect was reported to have then abandoned the blue BMW vehicle and got into a white BMW M3 car which was then driven away from the scene.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Officers are appealing to anyone with any information in relation to the incident to make contact.

Detective Sergeant Jon Putnam said: "Did you see or hear anything which you thought was unusual or which caused you concern? Did you see the two men or the BMW cars mentioned? Do you have any dashcam footage from the area which could help us?

"If you do have any information, please make contact with us."
