Lend a hand this Sunday: Rutland Junior Parkrun seeks volunteers to lend a helping hand
Rutland Junior Parkrun is looking for a new group of volunteers to support them in organising and running the event this Sunday.
Junior Parkrun is a free to attend event for juniors aged 4 to 14 to run the 2k route. The Rutland Junior Parkrun takes place at Normanton Church, South Shore, Rutland Water, LE15 8RP at 9am every Sunday.
Parkrun and Junior Parkrun is fully run by volunteers and is in need of a new group of volunteers to support their juniors on Sundays.
They are looking for: timekeepers, funnel manager, handing out finishing tokens, bar code scanners and marshals.

If you know in advance you want to get involved in volunteering, email [email protected] with your name and parkrun barcode (which you will get when you sign up for free on the Parkrun website).
If you decide last minute you want to help out, just turn up on the day and speak to volunteers when you arrive – they are always happy to have extra helping hands.
Every time you volunteer, your get one step closer to reaching an official parkrun milestone. You'll get a reward at 25, 50, 100 and 500 times!
