Oakham Piano Trio

On Thursday 16th January at 7pm in Oakham School Chapel, Oakham Piano Trio will be performing 'Innocence and Experience.'

The Oakham Piano Trio (violinist Annebeth Webb, cellist Richard Jenkinson and pianist Anne Bolt) returns Oakham School with an evening of romantic masterworks. 

This concert promises to perform the innocence of youth and experience of a lifetime, delivered in beautiful form with a mixture of romantic pieces. For tickets and more information, click here.

Jack and the Beanstalk at Rutland County Museum

Performing on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th January, Rutland Arts Theatre Society are proud to present Jack and the Beanstalk.

This New Years pantomime will take place at Rutland County Museum, with tickets available from just £10.

Written and directed by Ellie Dickinson, this show has everything you could possible want from a pantomime - audience participation, hilariously garish characters, singing, dancing and an evil villain!

There will be three performances from Friday 17th January at 7.30pm and Saturday 18th January at 2.00pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Oakham Wines or via this link.

Winter Bird Walk at Lyndon Nature Reserve

Connect with nature on this three-hour walk starting from Lyndon Nature Reserve. Take in the beauty of winter, peer into bird hides and listen to an expert give a unique point of view on the nature reserve's unique wildlife.

No previous experience is needed and this walk is great for beginner bird watchers, those keen to learn more about their local environment or anyone looking to switch off and reconnect with the beautiful natural world around them.

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 16th January, and this week the team are serving up venison chilli, rice and nachos.
