A range of local businesses have been selected as finalists in the 2023 Leicestershire and Rutland Muddy Stilettos Awards.

The nation-wide awards recognise businesses and retailers in the public sector who contribute towards the local tourism trade and enhance the lifestyle of the local people.

They take place across various regions annually, and this year include a number of favourites in and around Rutland.

A spokesperson for Muddy Stilettos Rutland and Leicestershire said: "A massive THANK YOU for taking the time to support your awesome local businesses this year – so many of you nominated in the first round of the Awards and, frankly, the response has blown our socks off. And, whilst we wish every brilliant business nominated could make it through, there can only be five finalists in each category and it's up to you to decide who wins the coveted Regional Award."

Each Regional winner will also be considered for the first ever National Muddy Awards, set to take place 6 - 25 July 2023, to find the 'best of the best' across all 28 Muddy counties.

The Awards close on 4 June 2023 11.59PM – so if there's a business you love, make sure you VOTE HERE.
