A local delivery driver has been praised for spreading the festive cheer this Christmas.

Oakham mum and Asda user, Hannah Clarke, has praised an Asda delivery driver for spreading the festive cheer this Christmas and attending all deliveries containing items for kids dressed as The Grinch.

Hannah spoke to Oakham Nub News, keen to share some "happy news in a world full of seemingly endless doom and gloom".

Hannah said: "I have a happy news story, regarding my Asda delivery driver. I could kick myself for not having asked the driver for his name, but whoever delivered my order this morning, is an absolute asset to Asda, and the world needs more humans like him!

"He came to my door dressed as The Grinch... Sadly my children are with their dad today, but the driver explained that whenever he sees child-related products on the order this week, he dons the costume to make the children smile, then lets them pick a small gift each.

"He kindly offered me two gifts for my children, and even gave my cat a handful of treats! No word of a lie, as a single mum struggling with 3 jobs, trying to keep a roof over my kids' heads and food on the table, I actually cried when he left at such a lovely gesture of kindness.

"I'm sure I won't be the only customer who feels like this man deserves a mega Christmas bonus! Photos available, and I can't wait to show my children who brought our Christmas food shopping round!"

Does anyone know who this mystery delivery driver is?
